My technique and style
Artists are always asked "what is your style or technique". For me it depends on the genre. I have primarily two: fairytale landscapes and contemporary abstracts. The fairy series is inspired by the turn of the century illustrations found in children's books especially in the 1920's where money was available for extravagantly illustrated books. The abstracts are inspired by Calder's moving mobile works of art, and Kandinsky's simple geometric shapes and intersecting lines.
