EVA'S BIO

In my senior year in high school of 1976, I entered an art competition where I walked away with a “Best of Show”, three Golden Keys and an art scholarship to Northern Arizona University.  Before obtaining my bachelor’s degree in the fine arts, I started a family.  During the 80’s I continued to hone my skills as a free lance artist.  I accepted commissions for portraits, business signs, posters, murals for local businesses, designed wedding invitations and perfected my calligraphy.  I also partnered with a printing company, providing them with clip art and black pen and ink illustrations.  During the 90’s I designed a business logo for a local company in Flagstaff, Arizona.  In 1991, I went back to Northern Arizona University but this time to obtain a bachelor’s in science in nursing.  I graduated with honors and obtained my nursing license.  I worked as a RN mostly in long term care and geriatrics until 2018.   I had an epiphany of the need to return to my original life long passion. I am very passionate about my art and feel I have found my calling.
