These fantasy landscape art pieces are inhabited by the fairies of the forest and children of the woods.  The use of pen and ink to render these works of art are reminiscent of the  techniques used  for the illustations found in many of the children's books around the turn of the century.  Black micron pens and for some sepia colored pens drawn on white paper are the foundation of the drawing before color pencil and gouache are applied for these vintage influenced art.  Cross hatching, hash marks, stippling and repetitive patterns dominate Eva's technique.  All of Eva's fairies are attracted to the water's edge, a place where the magic begins.
